SIMONE PICCIONI | STILL TIME

Wednesday, August 10, 2022 - Sunday, August 21, 2022

Studio W, 6 Bourke St, Woolloomooloo

OPENING SATURDAY 13 AUGUST, 3 - 5PM Stop time to stop and watch. And think. And so, we become the work of art. This will allow us to create the beauty within our possibilities, which is what the world needs. Colours represent one of the many possible paths to take, a sign indicates the grace and strength for the steps to be taken and the painted objects are clear and distant memories. Market places that are often crowded and full of noise, can become involuntary art installations by those exhibiting their products to sell. Just stop time and look closely. You can find the thoughts of those who order the objects, you feel the love for the work and there, around us, are all the colours lined up in a certain order to make the viewer fall in love. There are no noises and smells in the paintings. But at this point, it is the time of the beholder to imagine them and complete the work.
