1994 Oil on canvas 30 x 30 cm / 36 x 36 cm framed Painted at Ramsholt, Suffolk, UK in the studio of Arthur Boyd. During Glynn’s time at Ramsholt she noticed many pheasants in the landscape. (The birds are bred and released for recreational hunting) The pheasant is portrayed as a martyr in the tradition of catholic iconography.
