Transformation (stela)

Made from three pieces of Malaysian Jelutong Sealed with clear polyurethane and coloured acrylics 74.5 x 56 x 7.8 cm “She” is an homage to women. Below the face becomes a bowl, vase or heart design that is a metaphor for the beauty of the female figure. It has been inspired by the growing independence, education and confidence of modern Australian women to take control of their lives.
